It’s possible to go it alone but much easier to grab onto success when you are connected to a group of like minded individuals. If two heads are better than one then how much better would ten or so be. Would you come together with a common purpose you become powerful so why not do it?

Are you intrigued, curious or interested. We are working out all the details and will reveal our idea very soon. Check back...

I want to thank all the students who came to the class on Thursday.

We explored the sensory building blocks of how we differentiate between what we believe to be true and false. It’s all about how we see, feel, and hear what goes on in our minds when we consider these things.

Finding the differences between what is true, what used to be true and what is false is the first step to making changes. Often we believe things about ourselves and others that are not constructive or take us where we wish to go in life. Many times these beliefs come in the form of a statement like “I would but I’m too______________.” You can fill in the blank for yourself. These beliefs like all beliefs drive our behavior. We act often unconsciously in order to maintain the status quo, to maintain the truth.

If you have a belief that you are not good enough, this belief would be reflected in your behavior and therefore your results.

We investigated the building blocks and then watched What The Bleep Do We Know. It’s a great movie if you wish to question reality. It explores quantum theory in a very entertaining manner.

Thanks again. We will use what we learned to make changes very soon. Think about what you’d like to be different.

We are invested in our students doing phenomenally, so he came up with the idea of leading additional review of important information. He has also extended the time it takes for students to “show how brilliant they are.” ~ a BIOM euphemism for taking an exam. This really is above the call of duty. I thank Dr. Mattocks for his dedication to helping our students.

Half way through the first term that is. Our fantastic students have jumped head first into Anatomy & Physiology with Dr. Mattocks and nobody’s head has exploded yet. That’s always a good sign. Learning about the human body is necessary when you will be working on them don’t ya think?

They are also soaking up Pathology, the study of dis-ease and aliments. Since as a massage therapist, you don’t want to hurt any one or exaggerate anything that is causing them trouble, you get to learn all about what can go wrong. You learn when and when not to give massage.

The first of many advanced techniques was taught recently - REIKI. It’s a gentle yet powerful technique brought to the States from Japan. It reduces stress, creates DEEP relaxation, and enhances the body’s innate healing abilities. As in most Reiki Workshops, there were a few skeptics, who are always welcome of course. They became believers. It was fun and now the students have a skill they can use right away. Massage Theory and Application starts in March and they are eager to get into it.
