Oh my god! Did we have a great time yesterday at the Lingerie Milonga! We had around 50 folks from Hartford and New Haven CT, Pioneer Valley MA aka Northampton Region, Brattleboro and Burlington VT, and Albany NY....... and we had 6 extra men so women were constantly dancing! Josh brought over chocolates from his shop, Sabine took professional quality photos (which will be posted on her website soon), Gerd surprised us and drove down with 2 friends from Burlington, and we added candlelight to the ambience. Afterwards, about 20 of us made the trip to Chocolate Springs for dessert, hot chocolate and salsa music. To complete the night, Adora played the piano to an appreciative group of tired tangueros/as. It was a very late evening.

A quick synopsis of the Lingerie Runway Contest. Judge Johnny and Judge Jackie carefully scrutinized the attendees with the criteria that lingerie/nightwear/pajamas and/ or something equivalent (cleavage) had to be evident. Unlike last year, we decided that a person could only be in one category. After the judges announced the nominees, they strutted down the catwalk and then turned their backs to the audience. The audience then had the opportunity to express their approval for each candidate by cheering, clapping, stomping, or whatever else to make noise.
The categories, nominees and winners were:
Sexiest Guy:
Gregory - just plain sexy no matter what he wears
Christopher - very sexy shirt
Dr. John - the sexiest bowtie ever.
There were catcalls and clapping when Gregory bared his chest and Christopher vogued, but the crowd went wild when Dr. John took off his bowtie and threw it into the audience.

Even though Dan showed off his 6 pack and Josh touched himself, Yelena , who would have been in the Sexiest Girl Category except she was wearing a t-shirt under the top, won!
Sexiest Girl:
All the women attending the milonga were sexy however we had to abide with the criteria of "lingerie like" attire which narrowed the field.
Ana - red bustier
Tanya - red and black bustier
Ilka - black nightie
Diana - satiny red slip with slits up both sides
Marianne - great cleavage
Jan - great cleavage
Olga - very sophisticated night gown
The crowd was so enthusiastic, that it wasn't clear at first who the winner was. So we had to have a recount. Tanya took matters into her own hands and went after the undecided voters by slowly unhooking the back of her bustier and snapping her garter. She won by a clear margin.
Most Outrageous:
We saved the best for last. There wasn't a silent moment... it was filled with screams, laughter, and whistles while Jackie was running around trying to cover up the contestants.
Adora: Spiderweb outfit with "out of this world" butt presentation
Margery: A very short night shirt with a whole lot of leg showing
Sharon: Her outfit was so outrageous that we had the EMTs waiting outside
Victor: A wild PJ outfit
Victor set the tone by doing a slow strip and revealing his smoking chest with shaved armpits. Adora drove the crowd to a frenzy by dropping to the floor and moving panther - like across the floor.
The crowd was blown away when Sharon walked out onto the floor and showcased one of her best assets - her cleavage!!! Margery was shell shot and played coy after being the least dressed at the dance - but all it took was her walking across the floor with those legs to get everyone screaming for more.
The vote: It was a dead heat even with Adora's impressive booty display.
The recount: Victor took off his shirt and threw it into the crowd but Adora and Sharon mesmerized the crowd with their steamy moves. Jackie, realizing that continuing would only result in either public arrest or cardiac arrest, stopped the show by offering prizes to all 4. The crowd was on FIRE.
