Fourth Quarter starts out after two free throws from Katie BenAmor to make the score 35-27. Ashley Scroggins saves a rebound for the Lady Lions and gets it to Katie for a huge 3 WITH 4:56 to go in the game. The last half of the 4th quarter becomes all about free throws.

“Samantha Carter saves what would be a massive turnover,” reports Lance Ford as he and Scott Parks put a voice to the Live webstream back to the Howe Cafeteria. Over 50 fans joined together back home to cheer on the Lady Lions!

The ladies struggled with their offense and defense during the first part of the third quarter, allowing 11 points by the Lady Mustangs. Coach Brown responds to the slight momentum change by removing his jacket, a signature move. Does his tie stay on to the end of the game? . . . Check out the other podcasts to find out.

Hannah Landeros gets the turnover, but the Lady Mustangs answer back with a steal and score 2. #30 from Ft. Cobb-Broxton gets charged with her 3rd foul against Samantha Carter with 3:00 minutes left on the clock. Samantha adds two from the charity stripe, bringing the Lady Lions to 20-9.

Lindsay picks up her second foul, and with just a few seconds on the clock the Lady Mustangs take a last shot attempt that doesn’t fall, Lindsay McCown gets the rebound and . . .

Casey England, Howe Class of 2005 and a Broadcast Journalism major at OSU, drops in at the “Howe Commentator Booth” for a quick on air interview with Mr. Parks. Casey will graduate in Dec, 2008.
