I have been photographing children on my neighborhood swim team for some time. The images are not about swimming, but are about what unfolds around the edges of the swimming. Children naturally get into one another’s space, and as easily, pull back away. This body of work is an exploration of this effortless and continuous coming together and pulling apart.
