Congratulations to the following musicians for making the All-District Band: (left to right/front to back) Robert B. - clarinet, Lucas F. - euphonium, Vance M. - F horn, Ben W. - trumpet, Josh M. - flute, Alex K. - tuba, Nathaniel L. - alto saxophone, Shelby K. - bass clarinet, Clare O. - trumpet, and Virginia B. - oboe. They participated in the All-District Band Clinic at East Carolina University in Greenville on February 1-2, 2008. Virginia, Clare, and Lucas placed high enough at district to qualify to audition for NC All-State Honors Band. Lucas made 3rd chair in the state and will participate in the Honors Band clinic at the NC School of the Arts in WInston-Salem on April 18-20, 2008. More...
