A two goal performance by Stephanie Day was all the Ladner Attack needed to defeat VGS Force 2-1, in BC Coastal League action on a beautiful fall morning in Ladner. Day continues to prove herself to be the most exciting and explosive player in the league, with top-end speed that few can match.

The score flattered a visiting team that could do little to threaten the Attack defense.

“We’ve played very well in all areas. There was some miscommunication on the tying goal, but our girls recovered nicely. It was a comfortable win but we’d like to see that game put out of reach very early. A bad bounce and we don’t win.”

League play takes a break next weekend as attention shifts to the first round of Cup qualifying. The Attack’s opponent is yet to be determined.
