Of all the things to learn in this lifetime. Good health and the attitude of positive expectation in life are very important to your well being.
 
Most people want a comfortable home and enough money to pay the bills and have holidays when they want them. We all work to this end. We all want to feel happy, feel good about life and have positive expectations of how life should be.
We look enviously on people who have achieved what we want. Some of us set off along this path and achieve, some not and some don’t try.
We all have the ability to learn how to relax. Maybe it is not the word that motivates us maybe it is the feeling of just feeling alive and generally happy about life.
 We can all do great things but the real achievers are the ones that are motivated in some way. They just do not give up.
People will often say well this happened or that happened and I could not follow on. Usually what ever happens goes away but what about the motivation. Did it mean that because you could not do it at this point in time you were denied the right.
We let ourselves be put off too easily. It is often said I have no willpower. I do not think that is true. I think it is that motivation is not strong enough and that is something that each of us must decide for ourselves.

Relaxation
Are you a natural at this. Some people do not let anything faze them. They meet life with a calm and relaxed air.
Being able to relax is something everyone can learn and often it is a technique we have to learn.
We do not often like this idea because this may sound like having to work. To us it seems as though being able to relax should be a natural thing and one that we ought to be able to do.
 This is a skill and some people are naturally gifted and the rest of us have to make an effort.
I always find if I start to make time for a particular aspect involving relaxation I get into the habit of doing it every day.
After a while the habit becomes permanent and does not seem like work in any shape or form.
We like certain things to eat and drink. We often journey the same route even when we could go another way.
We are all capable of learning new skills and adding to our life experience. Yet sometimes we wait until our back is to the wall and have no choice.
I am in favour of doing it now before it gets that way. Not being able to relax will in the long term affect my general well being and that is something I am not prepared to let happen.
