In the past 6 months or so that I've done personal training with Carolyn, I have moved through some tough challenging moments both physically and emotionally. Past my fears and doubts about my own abilities. As she said, "only one of us needs to know you can do it ! " She knew, after strengthening weak, out of shape parts of me, that now I can do most any challenge offered. Yes it took my own commitment/focus to self, taking the time and money to be me again 20 years ago. Its only made my goal in private bodywork healing practice even better to serve those I need to help too. When I started training/coming to class my goal was to get back into shape and better myself with health & exercise. To reconnect with myself and spend some "me time" with myself!! Am I meeting your goals? Yes! And with that, I have found a wonderful friend & comrade in Carolyn! She has helped me to EXCEED my goals! She is my motivation and inspriation! I love her! At Synergy, I have learned that I can take control of most or all aspects of my life and better myself all around! I feel challenged at each and every class I have ever taken at Synergy. I find that the challenge drives me and I continue to come back for more! I love the atmosphere,. the vibe, and the spirit!

I started taking the Spinning classes in June of 2008 and immediately became addicted to the intensity and the excitement of the classes. There was so much variety and energy that I never got bored. It has become a part of my daily life. I wanted to get back in shape, build my endurance and lose some weight and I achieved all goals and feel in the best shape of my life.
I have met with Carolyn on a one on one basis about my diet and foods that I was eating. She looked over my diet and we talked about a new plan and adding new foods to make it a healthier diet. It was very helpful and I use her ideas every day in preparing meals. I recently took her cooking class and enjoyed learning about using different grains / proteins / fats and incorporating them into my daily routine.
I have also taken other training sessions with Carolyn whether in a strength class or personal training sessions. The one on one classes are unique as you have someone to get you started, coach you, and praise / cheer you when you feel like that you can’t do one more rep. I use the exercises at home to work out as well.
