Since Elliot’s diagnosis at age 2, Elliot and his family have tried countless therapies and biomedical interventions that have resulted in moderate improvement. In the summer of 2007, Elliot at age 6, the Sylvester family found the Autism Treatment Center of America (ATCA) Son-Rise program and things started to change. He is now gaining more language, building social skills and adding many more abilities due to the 50-hour-a-week Son-Rise program the family manages in their home. The Sylvester family is currently raising funds to go to the 1-week-long Son-Rise Intensive Program in Sheffield, MA – this is the most focused and powerful component of Son-Rise therapy offered by the ATCA.
