Another Day, Another Trip

Another visit today to what we now know is called the VETS’! And we had breakfast too.

The carrier was open and Jinsky jumped in all ready for an outing. Our humans got him out to put in a clean towel, then put him back in again, followed by Rudi. We were looking forward to another ride in the car! Soon after we arrived, a noisy fluffy tabby-cat came into the waiting room, followed by a noisy Chocolate Burmese. The lady who was with the Burmese asked if we were Burmese (we’re not, as far as we know), after which our female human was talking about a cat she used to live with who imitated human speech, which the other lady said her Burmese cats did.

It was a different vet we saw today - a man. He said we were healing well but Jinsky had another injection because his gums are sore and he has to take some tablets which the vet hopes will make them better. Our humans wondered if his sore gums might have something to do with us pulling most of the leaves off their Dragon Tree and breaking several of the branches off; the vet said it might have but that there are other things that could be causing it too. We have to go back in a few weeks’ time to have our second dose of vaccinations and Jinsky’s mouth inspected again.
