Ka-lai Pineapple Ukulele
Ukulele Friend カライ・パイナップル・ウクレレ （カマカ）
Beautiful Ka-lai (Kamaka & Lai-Lai) joint venture pineapple ukulele of the late 1920s. It is said that this pineapple model was the very ones that saved Kamaka from going bankrupt during the early stages of production. Constructed entirely of a beautiful vintage monkeypod wood, classic pineapple sticker on soundboard and ‘Ka-lai’ decal on headstock. Label inside uke is in wonderful original condition as well. I don’t see any repairs to the instrument that have been done but there are a number of nicks and fractures that may be addressed should you wish to have this beauty as a player uke. If not, it’s a phenomenal collectors piece and a truly rare Hawaiiana collectable. Vintage strings also inclusive. No case available.

1920年代後半に製作された美しいカライ（カマカとライライ）の合作パイナップルウクレレです。カマカ初期，このウクレレのおかげで倒産を免れたといわれています。すべてモンキーポッドで作られておりサウンドボードにクラシックなパイナップルのステッカーが貼られています。ヘッドストックには“Ka-lai”と入っています。
ウクレレの内側についてるラベルも製作当時のままです。特にリペアされた所はありませんが多少のひびや傷があるのでプレイヤーウクレレとしてお使いになる場合は少し治す必要があるかもしれません。そうでない場合はこれは素晴らしいコレクターのウクレレです。ヴィンテージのストリングもついてます。ケースはついていません
