Our Destination
Bristol Bay, Alaska, is home to the world’s largest sockeye salmon run as well as significant  runs of chum, king, and silver salmon, each occurring seasonally. It is also one of the world’s premiere fisheries for rainbow trout, some getting up to 30” in length or more! We were based at Bristol Bay Sportfishing Lodge, situated on the beautiful bank of Alaska’s largest lake, Lake Iliamna. We enjoyed a fantastic week of spectacular scenery and amazing stream fishing in some of the most beautiful country God ever created. Take a look at the photos on the next few pages to see how our adventure unfurled.
