This Yoga approach is truly for everyone: all ages, all levels of fitness and from all walks of life.

Students explore systematic, step-by-step, and safe approach to yoga that aims to integrate all the aspects of our being. It promotes the alignment of body, mind, and emotions. It helps to cope with the stress by awakening awareness, steadying the emotions, calming the mind, gaining sense of perspective, feeling of inner strength, freedom and peace.


With an emphasis on awareness, students learn in a non-competitive atmosphere the following components of the class:


1.  Three groups of simple physical movements/postures:

Anti-rheumatic group -- to open the joints, and relax muscles;

Digestive/abdominal group -- improve digestion and elimination;

Energy block group -- to increase vitality, strength and flexibility.

Program also includes the classic yoga postures, building up to them very gently. As the student’s experience deepens, more complex and challenging practices are gradually introduced.


2.  Basic breathing practice

is the second major component of a class. It aims to awaken, balance and expand the life energy.  It is also useful for inducing relaxation and lessening mental and emotional disturbances.


3. Yoga Nidra as an effective relaxation technique, is often the favorite practice of yoga students. It is considered as one of the most effective way to get peace of mind and equanimity.

 

Svetlana Lambrozo, MS has studied different yoga styles with prominent teachers from U.S., India and Australia – Erich Schiffmann, Swami Dharmakeerti, and Swami Shankardev. Her core Yoga education comes from Satyananda – Bihar School of Yoga. This advanced level yoga program offers comprehensive and complete yogic education, according to the modern needs. She enjoys sharing and applying her extensive experience to teaching yoga and feels it is a part of her life path. Her biggest goal and ambition is to see her students getting seriously interested in yoga, improving their well-being, learning to cope with daily stresses, and discovering other numerous benefits of regular and simple yoga practices.
