Hanama Bay

Ravaged by years of unknowing tourists, Hanama Bay, Hawaii is a wonderous place with a copious amount of tame fish but very few corals. The corals have been trampled by the fin clad footprints of thousands of first time snorkelers. The fish have never had to seek food, it is available from the swimmers in lavish amounts. Swimming here is a stunning encounter with the planets most friendliest fishes.

Our replica of Hanama Bay is  a 55 AGA filled with butterflies, angelfish and other colorful aquatic beauties. The lighting is provided by 2 VHO lamps. Water motion is simple: the return from the sump. The fish allow macroalgae to grow in amounts easily contained without harvesting, because they get an occasional piece of Nori on their Magfloat.
