Last day in France!!
Well the weather has suddenly turned wintry here. The show last night was good but a bit weird, as people kept getting up and leaving, some of them to get drinks and coming back and others just, well, leaving. All through the show. So it was hard to concentrate with this stream of people coming and going, and marching up and down the aisle. “Je suis pret!” went ok, but not as good as the night before. So we may have peaked!!
Actually tonight (the very last show) in Annemasse was great! Great crowd, wonderful response, really great way to end the tour. A funny little boy in the front row blowing me kisses! Gerry was great in French, and out, and I hope the Facebook friend who has been e-mailing me was there, as I have been enjoying her posts. And so the Tour of Beauty comes to end, as I go home to vote. I will play three last shows of the year in November before the holidays. Stay tuned.
