Last gig of the Beauty & Crime tour
Tonight is the last show!! A beautiful theater, velvet covered seats. Thanks to Sara Storer, our opening act on this tour in Australia, she has been great and the audiences love her and her songwriting. After this show it’s time to say goodbye to the dress, and move on to the next group of gigs!
The plan so far is: Blue Note would like to release another record in the spring of 09. I will be writing this spring and summer, probably recording in the fall of 08. Also doing a few shows in the States as one-offs, then touring Europe and the UK in the summer with Doug on drums and Mike on bass. So it will be a more stripped down sound, fuller than just the acoustic duo, but not the full production, and I will be changing the set list drastically. I will be writing more about our time in Perth... but first I have to get home!
