Sardine Peak Lookout is located between the towns of Sierraville and Truckee. It is not in use, although there is rumor of it being converted for public rental. It enjoys beautiful views of Stampede Reservoir. Sardine Peak Lookout is one the of the Sierra's most beautifully constructed lookouts.
