Bald Mountain Lookout is located off of Wentworth Springs Road in the Eldorado National Forest. The lookout is inhabited during the fire season. As seen in the picture above, it is on stilts. The views from the ground are obstructed by the many trees in the area, however in places there are excellent views of the Sacramento area. Access to the lookout platform is restricted.
