Sutter Bay Retrievers is now located in Oregon
Welcome to Sutter Bay Retrievers. Our kennel specializes in retriever training with an emphasis on gun dog training and running hunt tests and the Super Retriever Series. In addition, Tellus competes in occasional field trials. In August of 2007 we made the move to Albany, Oregon, just outside of Salem and close to Portland and Eugene. It has been an exciting transition for us, and we know the dogs are enjoying the cooler weather for 
training and romping. We still are settling in and getting all of the “farm chores” taken care of. We have added a blog feature to this site, so all can keep updated on our progress.

Because of these limitations, we do not correspond via email. You will need to contact us by phone at (916) 591-3629 for any questions or updates on your dog’s progress.
**Please note Sundays are reserved for family time. Phone calls and visits are welcome Monday through Friday between 8am and 6pm. Visits on Saturdays are required to be set up by appointment ahead of time.**

We held our Avery Training Seminar March 28-29th outside of Portland, OR. We had a good turn out, despite some rather soggy weather! Click here for pictures. We are hoping to hold another seminar later in the summer.
