Celebrating the release of his latest solo project, KANE’OHE, Nathan further explores his love and heritage of Hawaiian music through all original compositions.  Nathan Aweau, most recognized today as a part of a multi-award winning, internationally known duo HAPA, Nathan has found success as solo artist as well.  Receiving his third Na Hoku Hanohano award for 'Male Vocalist of the Year', he has gained much respect within the Hawaiian music industry both as a vocalist, and a world-renown talent.  Able to play many a string or percussion instrument and the piano, he studied music composition, song history and instrumentation under both professors and music instructors who were often his own immediate family.  The electric bass is his instrument of choice, playing for 15 years with Don Ho.  His love for contemporary jazz, Hawaiian standards, are complemented by his amazing vocals in many of his own compositions.
