Artist Statement
I am enamored by the marvels of nature and often incorporate these inspiring elements in my work. Earth-wrought materials spur my imagination, expand my vision, and provide a spiritual connection across time and cultures for me.
I use traditional metalsmithing techniques of shell forming, anticlastic and synclastic raising and fold forming to create my pieces from argentium sterling silver and 18 karat gold.
I am captivated by the fluid motion that can be achieved in metal design and continue to draw upon the reservoir of ideas for creative expression producing something unique which is both beautiful and functional.
