If you have decided to give meditation a try, you can get the most out of it by setting up the best conditions and by observing some pointers during sessions of meditation. |

Meditate as regularly as you can. Find a time that suits you practically - both when you can find the time, and when you find meditation goes best for you. For example, some people are 'morning people' and would find it best to meditate in the morning. Similarly, 'evening people' would be more relaxed when their working day is finished. If you can, make a habit of sitting at the same time every day. Set up your sitting cushions and blankets permanently, if you can, in as quiet a spot as you can find. A permanent spot can give you a sense of stability in your practice, and will remind you about meditation. Give yourself at least a month to experiment with it. To assess whether it is working, do not just look at how meditation is going for you - look at your life more broadly, as this is where you are likely to see the real benefits. next page | back | order video |
