Casa Bay View
Baja California Sur’s capitol city of La Paz has been voted the “best place to retire” by Money magazine, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times and CNN. However, La Paz is not merely a retirement community, far from it.  Its natural attributes are appealing to boaters, sports and trophy fishermen, kayakers, scuba divers, wind surfers, and beach campers.  Its lovely weather -- with sun almost every day of the year -- is also congenial to those with health problems, such as arthritis.  And finally, La Paz is now served directly by Alaska Airlines with many flights from major cities on the west coast, making it a good and convenient place to just “get away from it all.”

There are several “up-market” neighborhoods in La Paz, but the one called Lomas de Palmira rises above them all, literally and figuratively.  Built on a hill within the City of La Paz - yet removed from the hubbub of downtown - Lomas de Palmira is the “best of the best.”

Lomas de Palmira is a quiet, safe, gated community with an active homeowners’ association whose CC&Rs offer view protection and are recognized by the city and state governments.

“Casa Bay View” is one of the few houses in Lomas de Palmira (or anywhere in La Paz) that has a 180 degree view of the City itself, the inner and outer Bays of La Paz, the peninsula that juts into the bay called El Mogote (soon to be a destination resort), the boat traffic moving in and out of the Bay, the incredible sunsets for which La Paz is famous, and the glorious blue of the Sea of Cortez itself.  Sunset from Terrace Sunset from Master Bedroom Terrace House Front House Front Close-up Entry Foyer Courtyard Studio Utility Room Guest Bedroom Guest Bathroom Master Bedroom Master Bath Dining Room & Kitchen Living Room
