Everyone’s good at something.
My clients are generally “peers” - Ad Agencies and PR firms who need writing or film/video and strategic branding for their clients. This all started after 25 years of experience in the agency business. After being a writer (copy & editorial PR) for years with a background including health care and medicine (I’m a licensed therapist RRT) the need for a viable writer and strategist by many of my peers became evident, and that opportunity presented a winning opportunity to serve those who I understand and who understand me. Just as I had once struggled with the need for help at certain times as my agency grew, I understand how valuable such a resource can be. Especially if the price is “right” and the work is good. Happy New Year - let’s celebrate by doing some great work together!

Experience
Ad Lab Communications (Vocational Video Inc.) - 1994 - 2008
Awarded a “TELLY” in 1996 for the most powerful educational tool of that year. The creation of “Get A Life” in 1994 brought with it the delight of massive distribution of videos containing career guidance formulated to offer the student a path to knowledge that until then could only be obtained through “Job Shadowing” - a program that required the availability of busy professionals to serve as mentors. Of course, the video equivalent (the Get A Life DVDs) served to provide a large variety of occupational profiles that could be used at any time, anywhere. These programs were financed by stockholders and later were supposed to be subsidized by the Department of Education but, after only 23 titles, were subject private sector distribution because of budget cuts. Ad Lab also produced a documentary on Autism (1998) and several other programs for other companies both educational and promotional.
