Epiphany in Vegas

Although not as tall as this guy, he struck a chord in the physique of a young racer I used to know back in London in the 60s (me)
When I used to play soccer and run a few miles back and forth to the sauna as my training regimen, plus my youth of course. It was easy to maintain my 155 Ibs for racing.
But low and behold, by 1975 after 6 years of marriage and living with late night Indian curries and a national brewery for a sponsor I moved up to 168 lbs when I won my British clubmans championship.
The reason I show you this photo is that while in Vegas I tipped the scales at 216 lbs which triggered all these memories of days gone by. So I decided to do something about it and when we got home to Canada I joined the online Biggest loser club and signed up in the hope that getting online trainers and nutritionists on tap for a small cost, plus hundreds of recipes to fill my belly, will help me get back to 168 lbs in 2 years.
That’s 50 lbs in 2 years.
6 weeks later, I broke the 200 lb (17 lbs) barrier and have 33 lbs to go.
Wish me luck
