Who we are

Rajinder Singh is an IT consultant who has worked all over the UK and knows the stress and pressure of corporate work.

“As an IT consultant, I’m working under a lot of pressure and I know how stress builds up. We bring that stress with us from work into our personal lives and then it affects us at home too. I know that there are simple and effective yoga exercises we can do to reduce that stress, energize ourselves and be more productive at work and feel happier at home. This is why I am training as a Kundalini yoga teacher and sharing the techniques I learned.”

Vineet Kaur works in customer support and training. She has also trained as a Kundalini Yoga teacher, is currently qualifying to be a nutritionist, and has taught at the Addiction centre at Richmond, Kingston University, Sikh Missionary Society, and student camps at Central Gurudwara Shepherd's Bush. She’s also deeply involved in organising various charitable events to share food with homeless shelters and music workshops for the local community.

“I’m working in customer support and training in IT, and I travel in rush hour and hate it. Once I had an epiphany when doing just a few minutes of a simple breathing exercise, I felt much calmer and focused. I know these techniques work, they can be practiced in the office, sitting in a chair, which means everyone can do it when they need to.”

Paul Upjohn has taught Kundalini yoga for 4 years, providing teaching for mental health patients and substance misuse programs. He is also a holistic massage therapist and has studied martial arts since childhood. Paul hold a black belt in both Ki-Aikedo and karate.

“I have taught people of all ages and from all backgrounds and they’ve all felt the benefits from doing simple yoga exercises. Now I see people taking on more and more work and spend less time looking after themselves, and I want to share the teachings to make them feel better.”

Siri Simran Singh, PhD holds a doctorate in economic development. He is a qualified Kundalini Yoga teacher and has taught at alcohol and drug addiction centres, over 50s clubs in Newham, youth camps, and at yoga studios in the UK and abroad. He is currently studing Nád Yoga, the yoga of sound the basis of all classical Indian music, and the foundation of the art of sound healing.

“Yoga can be very powerful, even just a few exercises a day can totally change everything. I was stressed out by my thesis, and it was keeping to a daily practice that kept me fit and healthy.”
