This innovative program is designed to help middle and high school girls explore math, science, and technology in ways that are not ordinarily available in formal education. The core idea behind the program is to encourage the girls to learn and teach about today’s newest technology. They are familiar with digital media such as film and music equipment, as well as programming skills. The girls in the program are experienced in high definition cameras, networking, video conferencing, robotics programing, scratch programming, local software, and remote software. The program is run by Professor Luversa Sullivan, the Information Technology Systems Analyst and Intel Computer Clubhouse Coordinator at Allen Renaissance Inc. , where GMSE is held. The program is free of charge, and is always looking for young girls with a passion for technology. To view some of the films produced by GMSE, click the tabs on the top of the page. Enjoy!
