Mariana Rondón
Estudia en París Cine de Animación. En 1986 ingresa a la primera generación de estudiantes de la EICTV, Cuba. En 1990 crea, junto con otros cineastas de Latinoamérica, la Empresa Multinacional Andina “Sudaca Films”, donde dirige, produce y escribe. Actualmente se encuentra terminando su ultimo largometraje “Postales de Leningrado”, el cual se estrenará durante el 2007. Simultáneamente con el trabajo cinematográfico, se introduce en el mundo de las artes plásticas, creando instalaciones de gran desarrollo tecnológico. La más reciente, LLEGASTE CON LA ABRISA 1.5, obtuvo el  premio Fundación Telefónica, Vida Artificial 8.0, España 2005
 
 
Studies film animation techniques in Paris.  In 1986 she goes to the EICTV, Cuba. In 1990 she founds, together with other young Latin-American filmmakers, a Multinational Andean Company, called Sudaca Films, where she directs, writes & produces.
Right now she is preparing the release of POSTCARDS FROM LENINGRAD, her last feature film. Simultaneously with the film work, she has forayed into the world of fine arts, creating installations. Her recent one, ºCame with the breeze 1.5', obtained the prize from Fundación Telefónica, Vida Artificial 8.0, España 2005.
