I was born and raised in Birmingham, AL but I am currently in school at Belmont University in Nashville, TN and playing with the CWB. I started playing the bass when I was about 14 years old and have been playing nonstop since.


I love traveling, playing, and seeing God move in unlikely places. I have a passion for using my gifts to serve Him and I hope that he will be gracious enough to  use me in music for a long long time. So for now I'm open to whatever God would have me do and hopefully that involves leading you in worship.

I grew up in Dallas, TX where I began playing drums in garage bands and talent shows.  Rising up through the club scene in Dallas was a rough way to live.


I moved to North Carolina where I found the beach and Jesus found me.  I started playing in churches instead of bars and finally found peace and purpose behind the drums.  


After a season as a worship leader at a Charlotte church, I connected with the band Solomon’s Wish.  I traveled with those boys for five years and relocated to Nashville.  I have played drums for The Chris White Band for the last 3 years.


I love anything that allows me to meet new people, golf, the Dallas Cowboys, travel, the band Rush, my beautiful wife, Alyson, my two boys, Ben and Joey, and most of all, leading God’s people in worship while beating on the drums.”

I grew up in Fayetteville, GA, began playing guitar in middle school and got involved in the worship band in my youth group.  I started playing with the CWB 2 weeks after graduating high school in 2004, and am still working to finish college online while traveling full-time.


My life is simple......I love God, my mac, my music, my guitars, starbucks, and sleep.  College?  Well, I have to do that. 


Life is good.

I answered God’s call to student ministry as a junior in college and have served as a student pastor, worship leader, and missionary since 1991.  I left my position as a youth pastor in 2002 to challenge students across the country to pursue Christ with reckless abandon. “If worship leads us to pursue the heart of Christ, then the heart of Christ is for the world to know Him.  Therefore, worship fuels missions!” 


In 2001, I started a non-profit called  Mobilizing Students as a student missions platform to Launch the Next Generation Missionary...the student.  As I travel with the band leading worship, our goal is to see an unprecedented student missionary movement begin that will change the course of history.  Last year alone, Mobilizing Students sent nearly 800 students to 3 continents to plant house churches among the poor & forgotten.  (Click here to get involved)
