Welcome to the Hocking Valley Chorus (“HVC”) of Sweet Adelines International.

Founded in 1982, we are proud to be Athens’ premier women’s barbershop chorus!

Since the beginning, the chorus has been dedicated to being the best it can be. For Hocking Valley, this means an entertaining style! Whether singing for an audience of nearly 1,000 in one of the Region’s largest arenas or for an audience of 25 patrons, this chorus delivers a highly entertaining and professional performance, evoking tears, cheers and standing ovations. HVC is always seeking dynamic women who love to sing and perform.
