Field Day

Will be the last week of April. 5th graders voted and our theme is Military Style. We’re trying something different and having a different grade level each day. All Field Days will be from 12:30-2:30.

First Grade and Full Day kinder  on Monday, April 27th.

Second Grade Tuesday April 28th.

Third Grade Wednesday April 29t.

Fourth and Fifth Grade will participate on Thursday, April 30th.

We are asking you donate $10 to help pay for shirts and dog Tags. Letters will be coming home the first week after spring break.

JUmp Rope for Heart went well!! we raised over 500 more than last year to help save lives. Thanks for your help n involving the students with this charity.

L.V. Marathon for Kids

Once again, our school is participating in the Las Vegas Kids Marathon. Any child wishing to participate must complete at least 25 miles at JAWS then will have the opportunity to run the last 1.6 miles at mandalay Bay  to have ran the same distance of a marathon runner.  Anyone can register online or download the application then turn it in school.

Las Vegas Marathon forms can be turned into me at any time before November 1st or anytime online at their website listed below..

J.A.W.S (Jogging and Walking Superstars)

J.A.W.s. is a great program for parents and students to participate in. students will earn foot charms for the amount of miles they complete. Anyone able to complete 100 miles before May will be invited to a swim party at the Rec Center across the street and earn a 100+ Mile Club Shirt.

J.A.W.S is Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday at 8:20-8:40 am and during lunch recess. If you would like to participate (parents are invited too) or would like to volunteer come before school.

Watchdogs (father’s donating time and helping out) have been participating and helping in P.E.. It’s great to have them involved- the students and I enjoy having them in class! Thank you Dads!!
