Marc M. Smitham (also known as “Smithers”) has been involved in the music industry for many years in many different capacities- as a stage and studio performer, a composer, an engineer, and a producer. He has also been involved in music education and in music equipment sales. In music education he served for two years on Orange Coast College’s Music Department Advisory Board, and helped to design their MIDI Applications Certificate program. He also lectured there in music technology classes, assisted students in the music lab, and was a class assistant to the Music Technology professor. On the music equipment sales side of the industry he has been a manufacturer’s representative, a music store sales associate and department manager.
