Killed and wounded lists from Civil War newspapers 1862
Following are transcriptions of newspaper lists of the killed and wounded in the Army of the Potomac in 1862. The lists are intended to account for the members 62d New York and the other regiments in its brigade and division. Some of the lists are very long and so in some cases a forward slash (/) has been used to indicate a line return in the original document and an elipsis (…) where information  has been omitted.
These transcriptions have been made by John Tierney and while every effort has been made to ensure their accuracy it is possible that a few errors have been made. Should you notice any errors or have any questions about the transcriptions please contact the webmaster using the email link on the home page.
