This building hosts a community of rare bats. Wirral Council, who own and run the centre, took their responsibilities very seriously in this respect and Stormflex was a central part of the solution. It is virtually impossible to strip and re-slate without inflicting considerable damage to the viability of a bat colony. In this case they were lucky and ended up with the additional bonus of new luxury accommodation facilities which we created for them in one of the attics.
