This very desirable property had been slated in top quality Ffestiniog 14” slates. The only problem with the roof was- as usual- advanced nail fatigue. For less than a third of the price of re-slating with inferior slates we gave the client, Gerry Ridge, a bomb solid roof that was restored to its original integrity
