The slates on this roof are 14X8 on the front, and unusually 13X8 on the back. Build over a hundred years ago, the nails had rotted away, resulting in the slipeed/missing slates in the pictures.
The stormflex system was applied to the roof which It took 3 working days for Chris, ilan and myself (Robi) to apply the stormflex system to the whole roof. We also applied Metal One coat to the lead gutter at the front and the leaded valley at the back, hence extending the life of the lead.
I would also like to thank Tony for the copious amounts of tea that was supplied on our breaks, and the personal bonus we received at the end of the job. We stuck to our promise made to Tony, and our bonus is in the till of our Local pub!
