St. Marcelline has served with members of the Appalachia Service Project, ASP, since the summer of 2000. ASP is a youth based ministry dedicated to serve needy families throughout the Appalachian Mountains. This region of the United States has some of the most poverty stricken areas of anywhere in the world. Each and every year our teen and adult members bring back stories and memories of events and people that have changed their lives forever.
