“A farmer whose children were always fighting tried to persuade them to mend their way, but found that no words made any impression on them. So, the father decided to teach them a lesson. He made them bring a bundle of sticks, and started by giving them the bundle as it was telling them to break the sticks. Try as they would they could not. Then he untied the bundle and handed them the sticks one at time, so they could break them easily. ‘It will be the same with you, my children,’ he said. ‘As long as you agree and work together nothing will ever break us.” --Aesop
