Tom Rigney and his wife, Judith finally made good on their threat to come for a visit. They traveled with Caroline and Jaime, who already own a house here, and we sure kept them busy. We went to the huge mercado in Ezequiel Montes, San Miguel de Allende, and deep into the Sierra Gorda mountains to see the beautiful missions built by Father Junipero Serra before he came to build the  more famous missions in California. The drive to the missions was long but the scenery was stunningly beautiful. There was so much to do and see that Carolyn and I have vowed to return and spend a couple of weeks exploring.
