Our good friend, Edgardo, asked me to put together a band to represent the USA for the 2nd annual Fiesta de la Luna in Bernal. There were four other countries represented as well, Spain, Italy, Cuba and Mexico. We decided that a Blues band would accurately represent US music so I enlisted the multi-talented Doug Robinson and guitarist extrodinaire, Ken Basman to join in. Doug’s wife, Glenda also sat in with a beautiful rendition of Cry Me a Rivre. Afterwards, Edgardo told me that this was the first time for this kind of music in Bernal. We were all very honored.
