SATURDAY April 14, 2007 - CONCRETE DREAM PICTURES & THE FILM COMMISSION OF NORTHWEST ALABAMA will host an all day workshop to teach movie making skills.  The second workshop - in our series - will focus on CAMERA TECHNIQUE AND CINEMATOGRAPHY. 

Do you want to learn how to make your videos look more professional?  Do you want to make your video look more like a real movie?  Learn from the pros.


We’ve lined up two working pro’s - BILL SCHWEIKERT & LANDON McCRARY that have spent their lives with video and film cameras in their hands.  Each has extensive Director of Photography national credits including -  Like Moles Like Rats, Star Trek 25th Anniversary TV Special, Go Army TV ad series, and many more.  You’ll learn about video, 16mm film, and 35mm film cameras and techniques for how to use them during this exciting day long workshop.  Don’t miss it.


The fee for the whole day workshop is just $50 dollars per person - $25 dollars for STUDENTS!!!!.  It starts at 8:30am and runs until 4pm on Saturday April 14, 2007 at the new Shoals Chamber of Commerce.  AKA - THE FILM OFFICE - 20 Hightower Place, Florence, Alabama 35630).  Registration is open to anyone 16 years old and older. 


Bring some extra cash for lunch or bring your lunch with you we will NOT be providing lunch, but deli style sandwiches can be ordered at the beginning of the workshop day.  Lenny’s Sub Shop will take your order and money on Saturday morning - before the workshop starts - and deliver your 5 inch sandwich and drink and chips and cookie to you during the lunch break.  Tax and all it’s ONLY $5.70.  What a deal!
