Dan Beene has acted in many motion pictures including WE WERE SOLDIERS, WALK THE LINE, THE LEGEND OF BAGGER VANCE, THE PATRIOT, and LEATHERHEADS.  He’s also appeared in many national commercials.  Dan has been a working pro for over a decade and will be sharing some of his techniques and secrets for successful onscreen acting.

DATA BASE - Actors who wish, will be included in a database of talent.  Just bring a picture/headshot of yourself with attached resume’ with you to the workshop or...

HEADSHOTS - As a service to our workshop attendees, we’ll shoot a basic no frills HEADSHOT of each actor that doesn’t already have one.   The headshot will go into a database of actors in the Shoals and a copy of the headshot will be provided to each workshop attendee.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING - Please bring a short 2 minute or less scene that you’ve transcribed from TV or Film that you love and you’d like to perform.  You can transcribe it from a TV show or DVD or search online - Drews’ Script-o-rama is a great source of free scripts - for a scene in a script that you love.  Two minutes or less.
