This is all about what happens when two Americans chuck nearly everything and become footloose in Paris.
We had been living in Florence, Italy from January through the end of July 2006 and on July 30 moved to a great apartment in the 5th arrondissement just a block from the Jardin des Plantes, in Paris.
My wife Susan (above right) enrolled in the Diploma de Patisserie program at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and after that interned at Pascal Pinaud’s pastry shop on rue Monge, just around the corner from Place Monge in the 5th, and only a 5-minute walk from our apartment!
As for me, I will continue our travel blogs of course and my work documenting the major cemeteries of Paris through notes online and of course images. Stay tuned!
