I was born and raised on the council estates ("projects") of West London until I was sixteen years old [Hollywell Estate, Watford and the Feltham Railway Estate].
A rebel, and a truant from school, I accidently gave myself an education by taking refuge from the difficult streets in the free libraries and museums of London.
