Faceplant is Lori and Steve McDonald

Our home base is here in Heber, Utah. We live and work in a building we built for ourselves back in 1998. We design products, do landscape architecture, and generally PLAY a lot in the outdoors. We don’t sell anything on the site . . . yet. This website is simply here to help tell our story, share ideas and make friends. The above painting, by Steve, is based on an old photo of a faceplant circa mid 1940’s. The process of learning requires a lot of trying and failing. If you work hard at anything, take numerous ‘faceplant’s’ (or risks), get up, try again, and learn from your mistakes, eventually you will become a master. We’re not masters yet. . . but we’re on our way and we have a lot of fun trying.
