chemistry

i’ll probably take a good deal of flak for writing this particular blog but seeing as how this story plays out every day in my shop, i thought it only fair.

not long after wade began working at duross & langel, we saw a pattern emerge. almost every day he would stop by the store and hang out, whether he was working or not. it was usually on the days when sarah was scheduled. if asked if this were true, wade would most likely chalk it up to coincidence (and i’m sure that in his mind it was) but sometimes chemistry trumps virtue and we find our paths shift. it was obvious to everyone but wade and sarah that something clicked. and then one day...

the thing i like best about wade is his earnest desire to become. strange sentence, i know, but each day as we lock horns, it’s obvious that great things are destined for this young man. as for sarah.. i’m really curious as to how this one will play her hand. i think that there is more on her horizon than any of us can see. though i encourage her to go on to greater, more fulfilling work, i’d be lost without her.

having worked with my partner for three years, we both looked forward to the day when we would work separately ‘cause it ain’t easy to spend all day and night with the one you love. somehow, these two are handling it well (enough) and together we make one dysfunctional unit that works really well. chemistry.
