Each summer, Tabor Boy departs Marion for a seven week adventure cruising the beautiful coast of Maine.  Incoming students spend the course of a week meeting future classmates, sailing the schooner, learning about the Maine coast, and getting acclimated with the culture and atmosphere of Tabor Academy by getting to know the all-student crew and faculty chaperone. 

The Orientation at Sea program has been running for almost twenty years, and thousands of Tabor students have had the benefit of this experience, which is open to all incoming Tabor Academy students.
