To recognize ways to help our brothers and sisters who live beyond our borders? If yes, this website may have what you’re looking for.

The Ixim Education Committee was formed by teachers from the Omaha Archdiocese who participated in an Ixim mission trip to Huehuetenango, Guatemala. On their trip they were touched by the students and teachers with whom they had interacted during their trip. Furthermore, the Omaha teachers’ eyes were opened to the desperate financial need of these schools. These teachers recognized the benefit that could result for both the schools of Huehue and Omaha by forming school-to-school friendships. The Education Committee exists to build and maintain these relationships.
