What is Warrenton?

Warrenton is one of many small towns surrounding Round Top, Texas that plays host to one of the largest bi-annual antique fair, swap meet, garage sale, flea markets in the US.

It covers more than 300 acres of open pasture and dance halls and barns and tents. The show is just off HWY 290 and spans from Burton and La Bahia all the way down HWY 237 to Warrenton. Smaller shows proceed the big event and there are many separate shows to attend. Most are admission free and some even have free parking.

The ten plus day show is a mecca for collectors, decorators, and designers.

The show originated more than 30 years ago in Round Top as a high end antique show started by Emma Lee Tourney. Eventually the show expanded as vendors would set up to sell to dealers before the main Round Top Show.

Word got out to decorators and designers and the show grew and I would say in the last 15 years the show has just exploded. People travel in from all corners of the US to attend and you can find coverage for various specific shows that fall during this time frame in many mainstream decorating magazines.

Now you can plan to attend a specific show or just drive out and bounce around from one dance hall and cow pasture to another.
