Want to buy off the wall. You need to see Hector. I am always amazed at the range of industrial oddities this guy comes up with. He is always located under the huge oak tree and big top tent in the Bar W field adjacent to Tin Star Cafe. Hector is based in San Antonio 
and over the years I have seen him carry everything from amusement park ride parts, vintage toys and valentine cards, religious relics, gumball machines, and last spring - a ginormous bird cage. I’m not sure if you can tell from the photo but you could fit Hansel and Gretel’s parents in this thing.
If there is any old warehouse with unsold merchandise from any decade prior to 2000, I feel certain that Hector has dibs on it.
If you can’t see me buying a big bird cage, you are right. However, I continue to visit Hector because several years ago I found this gorgeous hand-crafted wooden lounge chair. My hub (and our canine) have both fallen in love with it. Thus I have convinced my woodworker that we need more and he should make them. Lucky me!
